What’s a second shooter and do I really need one?
A second shooter is an additional professional photographer who works alongside me to capture your wedding day from multiple perspectives. While I’m fully confident in photographing weddings solo (and have done so many times with great results!), having a second shooter simply means more angles, more moments, and more memories.
Think of it this way: while I’m photographing your walk down the aisle, my second shooter might be capturing your partner’s reaction. While I’m focused on portraits, they’re catching candid laughs between your guests. It’s a dynamic way to tell your love story from every possible angle. Our teamwork brings a calm, comfortable energy to your day, and we’re passionate about making you and your people feel totally at ease in front of the camera.
You’ll notice that second shooter packages are priced higher—that’s simply because you’re getting two photographers instead of one. But it’s still a better value than hiring two separate pros.
